Albertsons Companies Foundation supports causes that impact our customers’ lives. Our stores provide the opportunity to mobilize funding and create awareness in our neighborhoods through our associates’ passion, partnerships with our vendors and the generous contributions by our customers.
In 2020, we raised more than $11 million for causes important to our local communities, including education, cancer research and treatment, programs for people with disabilities and veterans’ outreach.
Another core area of giving and outreach for Albertsons Companies and Albertsons Companies Foundation is in Disaster Relief. When our neighborhoods are struck by disaster, our associates and stores respond by reaching out to their neighbors and addressing their needs. When hurricanes, wildfires and other disasters destroy parts of our nation and impact our customers and associates, our stores rally to raise funds and donate food and supplies to assist our first responders and the people in our neighborhoods who were left devastated.
